Very great job and affordable ????
He’s done a lot of different types of things for me and he never disappoints. His prices are always lower than everybody else is and he’s easy to communicate with. He has done everything from sheetrock to tile for me. I wanted to post some before and after pictures of some of his work, but all I have is the finished product. This used to be a sunroom, he got rid of all the windows framed it and made it into a habitable room. I love it!
I explained the job fully to him and he gave me a bid for the job. We agreed on a price and he came to install the doors. But that’s about the only good thing I can say about Jon. His work was horrible! He broke one of the doors I provided and tried to replace it with a used door that was the wrong swing. As a result he had to router new slots for the hinges on this replacement door. He made the slots too deep and installed the door anyway. The door wouldn’t close all the way. He tried to come out and fix it by putting a shim in and patching it which didn’t fix it all the way. The replacement door also doesn’t line up with the jamb so I cannot put a doorknob on because the door won’t shut if I do. He had to cut down 3 of the doors to make them fit. His cuts are sloppy and not straight! He also didn’t put the solid door filler back in the bottom of these doors. I told him that he needed to do this and he said that it would be ok. Another door is too tight in the jamb so you have to push with effort to get it to close. I contacted Jon about all of these issues and he told me to fix them myself!!!!!!! I asked him if we would refund me for the 3 doors that he installed incorrectly and to pay me for the door he broke and he told me that he would only give me $20 back. One of his many excuses was that he was working on 4 jobs and was trying to fit me in and because of that he did not do his best work!!!!! Please reconsider if you are thinking about getting work done by Jon!
