They were very thorough as expected. The colored 48p report was given to me on the spot and they each went over the sections they covered in the report. They answered any questions I had along the way but were diligent to stay on task. I will highly recommend in the future.
Was referred to A B through our realtor. Huge mistake. This was our first home buying experience so we really needed them to come through. Not even remotely close. In the report they didn’t state the age of the roof thus greatly increasing home owners insurance, they failed to notice that our AC system was not up to code (did not have an on /off switch by the outside unit)plus the drainage system was not built properly meaning a leak could have been catastrophic, and the person helping us to schedule acted shocked I wouldn’t be there in person for the inspection. I don’t have time nor the knowledge to inspect, that’s the whole point of hiring them. Our report was filled with things a 3 year old could have noticed. Button missing on dishwasher, paint smudges, outside storage door wouldn’t latch (which oddly enough it did, you have to actually try). I would trade all of these in for the age of the roof and proper AC description. I don’t like negative reviews, but take your money elsewhere.
They are so thorough, have a print-out ready to hand you (on-site) when they are finished and then have an online report system that is really nice. Just used them for the 2nd time in a year and will definitely call them again, if I need another inspection. You can’t wrong with A B Home Inspections, Inc.!
