At heart I love construction work and building things, I have over 5 years of hands on construction experience and major home component installations. This includes residential framing, insulating, finishing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work. I truly believe you cannot put a price on this experience, it is invaluable and really allows me to see things differently from the “average” inspector who works down a checklist and tells you your potential purchase is “ok”. This is how, and why, I can provide such a comprehensive home inspection and provide you with recommendations and a truly personable experience. You will hear this on other pages throughout this site, but I am truly looking forward to working with you.
Just a waste of money. Inspection on our new home was just a protocol no real value added to the home purchase process. I had to point out to him that the fan of the AC/Heating unit was not blowing evenly in the same room still he did not check the /C unit outside that could be the cause of the problem only said maybe the fan and maybe its the air filter and guess what when we moved into the house we discovered that the heat in the other rooms were not blowing up either.
He walked through the house with me in detail and explain thoroughly what he was looking at and why it was or was not up to par. The home inspection report was comprehensive and informed us in our renegotiation of the house. He found issues with the electrical panel which I called an electrician in to look at it, and the electrician said “The inspector doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The panel is fine!”. Guess what, the switch upstairs kept tripping when we use our microwave and had to call the electrician in again to fix. He owned up to not noticing the issue the first time. So Darbie was right the entire time. 5 years later I am looking for a bigger home to move to and will consider using Darbie again when the time comes.
