Any SC licensed Home Inspector licensed under SC LLR shall have the right to inspect dwellings or areas defined as: ) “Dwelling,” per SC LLR means a single-family house or duplex or a multifamily unit not to exceed sixteen units and not to exceed three stories in height, and which is intended for residential use. A dwelling includes the systems and other components and improvements that are part of a single or multifamily unit at the time of construction.

Response from Tim is unfortunate. Instead of providing a customer focused reply, he immediately calls my review ‘phony’ and originating from ‘jealous competition’. I just wanted to give a review of my experience with Tim and his home inspection on my house and to the fact that I do not believe it was worth the price charged (I am not asking for a refund). My decision to use Tim was based on his perfect 5 star record since we did not know the area. It does concern me in the fact that his first reaction is to have my review deleted, albeit being a review critical of his work. Makes one wonder why there are no other reviews less than 5 stars. Again, this is my review, a single data point, so take it for what its worth.
As a realtor I really appreciated Tim’s Attention to detail inspecting a house my client is buying. I liked his report style as it was strictly to the point… not a prefabricated 70 page report like the typical big box inspectors use. Not only is an inspector but he is also a Full licensed contractor that has a long resume and years and years of experience building, fixing, and knowing the real bones of houses. He showed up early and answered everything we had concerns about putting my client at ease to buy this property. I highly recommend him!
We were highly impressed with the quality and detail of Tim’s inspection report on a house we put an offer on. He paid attention to all the details and potentially saved us a lot of money on repairs we were not prepared to pay for. He was also very nice and personable and my 9 yo son enjoyed “helping him” test the appliances. We would definitely use this company again.
