Advanced Radon Services Inspectors
We are very much in the “medical field” as well as the construction field. While it’s true we drill holes in concrete floors, run big white pipes through houses, and install fan motors, what we do actually saves lives. Having both survived cancer, my partner and I have learned after several years of testing, that in the high karst areas of Kentucky, the radon levels are much higher than the national radon map may depict.
Edwin Huff is great to work with and he will stand behind his work to get the job done right!
Randy and Richard put in a radon mingation system in my husband and I house yesterday January 9th 2020 they made sure everything was done right and they let me watch and answered every question I had about the system and how it worked I would highly recommend them to my friends and family’s they are really nice people and they are awesome 10 out of 10 keep up the great work Randy and Richard
We had a great experience with this company! They helped us tremendously and got our system working correctly. Edwin, the owner, is genuine and cares about his customers and employees. I also had a great experience with Pam. She came out and did our radon test and facilitated the service that we needed to have done. I really liked how personable everyone was and made us feel comfortable with our options. I trust this company and will definitely be using it again and referring my friend and family. Thank you Advanced Radon!

I bought a realtime radon monitor “airthings wave (2nd gen’) monitor after reading about it in consumer reports magazine. Our house is on a full finished basement. I was getting radon readings in the 12-15picoliter range with averages around 8picoliter, well above the government actionable 4pico/liter level. We initially contacted Mr. Huff after reading a lot of good reviews on Angie’s list. Mr. Huff himself came out and explained the process, but more importantly performed a self patented diagnostic test. This test is done before anything to see how much airflow they can move below the slab to help determine what solution is going to work and placement of installation. Our particular home didn’t have lot of space below the gravel in certain areas and wouldn’t pull enough air. We debated the pump solution but it only has a 1yr warranty compared to the fan which has a 5yr warranty. We ended up on getting 2 fan systems one on each extremity of the basement. A few days after installation they came out to do their post installation radon measuring. The lady was very nice and kind, we installed their radon measuring kit next to my “airthings wave (2nd gen)” monitor. We got their report back and the numbers were spot on with our monitor (this reassured me that our device was accurate), moreover the radon levels dropped to <0.4pico/liter post installation. We couldn’t be happier. As you can see from the screenshot our levels are consistently remaining well below 2picoliters weeks after the installation.
