I thought the experience was excellent, until I noticed water leaking through the overhang on my front porch two weeks after moving in. Upon further inspection of the attic, I observed several large wholes in the plywood directly under the dormers where water had obviously been leaking for an extended amount of time (likely years according to the roofer). Damages were approximately $2000.00. Consulted with a lawyer who tried to reach out to Mr. Fifield, but no response.

Tim was very thorough and didn’t nitpick on my inspection. I was also on the buying and selling end of real estate while he performed the inspections. He brought in infrared cameras to check for water inside the walls.He also can utilize a high dollar drone with legit 4K photos for cold damaged roofs. He was able to locate things I never would have caught. I know home inspectors get a bad rep sometimes but you can usually point the finger back at the realtors. They negotiate, home inspectors inspect for safety hazards and faulty foundations etc. Would definitely recommend AFI. Very affordable as well
