He explained things for me and is very thorough and detailed. Being a first time home buyer it’s an important step in purchasing a home. Thank you so much for working with my son as well and explaining everything to him. From the beginning to the finish of the inspection i would highly recommend Donn of Anderson Home Inspection to anyone that needs this service. We were referred to Don at the end of last year by my sister and brother-in-law who had used him many times for their properties. This was the first time any of us were purchasing a condo instead of a single-family home, so I was uncertain of what to expect. Yes, you own the unit, but you pay for the maintenance of the building through your HOA, or worse, through a Special Assessment. There are so many horror stories out there from condo owners about getting a surprise SA bill for $10k because the roof is failing and the Association didn’t budget for it or maintain it properly. Donn understood our concerns and had seen it all before, so instead of just inspecting our unit, he inspected the entire building — from the roof to the basement., as well as the exterior common areas. It gave us so much piece of mind to know how things have been cared for, and what probable repairs would need to be addressed down the road. Thank you, Donn! (And also to Robin in the office was so helpful and nice!) Cannot recommend them enough.

Donn Anderson came out to do the inspection on a home that we were in the process of buying. He had already done inspection work on three other properties that relatives had purchased and he came highly recommended. Donn did not disappoint. His attention to detail and very straight forward advice regarding the property was invaluable. It was clear from our discussion which aspects of the home needed correction versus recommendations regarding changes/fixes that could be considered after we were in the home. His thorough documentation in the report was very helpful following the inspection and will be useful moving forward when some of the smaller issues get addressed. He has a very casual and friendly interpersonal style that was refreshing. Donn also had an assistant on the inspection who was very knowledgeable and personable as well. I would highly recommend Donn for any home inspection needs.
