It was a pleasure working with Mike at ACHI to inspect my new construction townhome. I am 100% satisfied with the inspection, customer service, and price I paid. The price for the inspection was similar among the other business I looked at but the service was by far more than what any other company offered. Mike provided an easy to understand pdf document explaining issues with the home as well as pictures with each issue. I sent the inspection report to the project manager of my townhome and he said this was the most thorough inspection report he had ever seen. Mike also made sure he was available for a re-inspection I requested to ensure all problems were addressed by the project manager/builder. The communication with Mike was also fantastic. Via email and phone, Mike was always available to answer my questions, usually within a matter of a few hours. I would highly recommend using ACHI and Mike for any home inspection in the greater WV area. I recently had Michael Moorehead inspect a home we are in the process of purchasing and as first time homebuyers, Michael was amazing! He was super knowledgeable and detailed! He found things that I didn’t even think to look for or notice! At the inspection he walked me through everything he found & told how to fix or prevent issues! I learned so much about the house I couldn’t believe it! He is also truthful with you about necessary tests & whether or not you should spend the extra money on them. His report is also exactly like his inspection full of pictures and details! Michael also emphasized how he would answer any home questions for us at anytime! As first-time home buyers, we had many questions, but he patiently answered each and every one of them. After the inspection, he delivered a comprehensive 68 page report. The report was easy to understand and well organized; it contained detailed narrative descriptions of all issues with the home, accompanied by color photographs, as well as home maintenance tips for us as new home owners. The report allowed us to negotiate a substantial credit for home repairs from the sellers, and it will form the basis of our home repair and maintenance plan once we move into the home.
