He came out to do a second mold sampling since the shower had been too recently cleaned the first time he came out. He did a very quick turnaround on the reports and follow up, and has been professional and helpful, answering all of my questions and providing referrals for remediation. I was really impressed with this company’s policy to not do remediation on their inspection jobs due to the conflict of interest.

For over a year, we had an unpleasant mildew smell that occurred whenever we turned on our heater, and then we noticed many areas of visible mold in our apartment and communal areas. With our landlord not willing to address our concern, we were forced to deal with it ourselves. After discussing our matters with the San Francisco Rent Board, the housing committee, and several experts, we were encouraged to have our apartment inspected by a mold professional. After thoroughly screening mold inspection companies on Yelp, we decided to contact Bay Area Mold Pros. Quite promptly, we received a response from Rick, who was very professional and communicative. Rick was also able to pencil us in for a somewhat short-notice-request. With lab reports showing positive results, our concerns quickly became validated. After Rick’s inspection, he provided a clear and concise recommendation that our landlord take.

He answered all our questions and it was a no-brainer to hire him for the job. Scheduling an appointment was really easy and our mold report was delivered really fast. I would highly recommend Bay Area Mold Pros!
