Blue Line Home Inspections was founded by Travis Ellis and his wife Erin. Travis spent over twenty years serving and protecting citizens of our Commonwealth as a Police Officer. In early 2019, Travis retired as Chief of Police from the Frankfort Police Department.
In his tenure as Police Chief, Travis started several community programs including neighborhood watch programs, camera for security programs, and partnering with the Salvation Army for fundraising. Travis is a member of the Kiwanis and still holds membership in the International Chiefs of Police Association.

Travis is a great guy and an even great inspector. From the few moments we talked he helped me and my fiancé understand exactly what was going on in our future home. We are first time home buyers and answered all of our questions with ease and great service. Use them for all of you inspection needs!!!
Blue Line was great to work with. My inspection was finished and a digital copy sent to me immediately. The inspection was thorough and contained plenty of photos and videos. Travis Ellis did a walk through with me and explained details well. He also went out of his way to fit me into his busy work schedule because demand for his service is so high. I hope I’ve found my forever home but if not, I plan to use Blue Line again!
Was a great inspector! Very professional and informative. Didn’t use him for my second inspection and that was a mistake! Had a small mishap with the credit card machine charging more than it was supposed to but it was resolved immediately. Would definitely recommend. He goes above and beyond and is worth every penny!
