I would highly recommend Joshua Brink to anyone in the area needing a home inspection. Not only did Josh let us know his findings, but he also gave good tips on preventative maintenance. He’s a skilled communicator, which is equally as important as performing the inspection. I’m glad to have had him on the site to avoid any potential costly repairs. Brink’s Home Inspection went above and beyond our expectations. Josh made things easy for us by also coordinating a separate radon and pest inspection. Josh was very timely and even arrived early on the day of the inspection. He was happy to point things out as we walked around and gave us a very detailed report with pictures the same day as the inspection. We highly recommended his services!

Let me begin by saying this was our first experience with a home inspector, or even needing one. We are buying our first home together and we are learning so much along the way, especially with the help of Josh and Brink’s Home Inspection. We were referred a list of different inspectors that were in our area, by our realtor. We researched and read over everyone’s website and looking at the specifics of each home inspection the different inspectors offered. Based on the previous reviews posted on google about Brink’s and the list of specific areas covered during our inspection, I emailed two inspectors to get an idea of the cost we were looking at and the availability of both too! The other inspector responded pretty quickly, I think within the evening I emailed him, and he was cheaper when comparing the two. Josh responded next day, I’m pretty sure the next morning, and apologized for the delayed response (the next day, that’s still a great response time in my opinion) but gave me details that I had asked for and from there, we decided to go with Brink’s. Although a bit more expensive than our other option, we have heard horror stories from friends that were also first time home buyers and their inspectors missed SOOO MANY THINGS and they have had to pay so many unexpected costs because of that, which we didn’t want to happen! We went with Josh and he was able to come out the next week, and in this crazy market, that was much quicker than we expected! He explained his process and welcomed us to join the whole time or at least be there for the last 30 mins to walk through with him as he explained the few trouble areas. He went through the whole house, explained everything in a great way that my husband and I both understood, suggested a few recommendations and changes happen before we took possession of the home, and then sent us the report the same day the inspection was completed! There was one instance where we couldn’t figure out how to get access to a specific place of our home, and my mom (who had went with us to the inspection and knows a lot about this type of thing) pointed out a place that she thought he could get into to inspect, and without hesitation, he jumped right up to inspect and although he couldn’t gain access to that spot, he apologized for not thinking of that and was great about it! He was extremely knowledgeable and soo helpful! He inspected our home like it was his own, and when you’re making a huge purchase for the first time, you really appreciate that!! Josh, just consider me your promoter at this point, because I have already shared our experience with lots of family and friends and will continue to do so!
