Concept One Building Inspectors
1. Our inspections will be performed in compliance with generally accepted standards of practice. Documentation of these standards is available upon request.
2. Concept One recommends that the buyer and seller be present at the home inspections, if at all possible.
3. All inspections are limited to visual inspections of the general systems and components to determine which are in need of immediate repair.
4. Areas that are not exposed to view, are concealed or are inaccessible for any reason are not included in the inspection.
. They completely missed the fact that the gas water heater in the garage at our home wasn’t 18″ off the ground (measured to the igniter and burn) wasn’t even close!!! I thought the buyer’s home inspector was false I had to look up the code and sure enough he was completely correct I can’t believe they missed this this. Code hasn’t seemed to change since 2006. So now we have to completely replace the water heater at our own expense with a short one to meet code which they didn’t catch. Beware buyer do not use they missed many other items too!
Their structural engineer was incredibly fast and thorough, and got back to me immediately with questions, even after hours and even after the inspection was complete. I was under an incredibly short deadline, and their customer service was nothing short of outstanding. Many of these reviews reveal that selling and purchasing property is a stressful process, but I couldn’t be happier with their service. Their support and kindness during my most stressful time can never be repaid. THANK YOU Concept One! You guys are first class.
The office personnel is super friendly and tries everything to accommodate your timeline and your buyer’s schedule. The inspectors are super knowledgeable tactful and most of all help your buyer’s understand how the house works. They are a great company and I highly recommend them.
