Not only an amazing home inspector but a great person! He truly cares about you and your property..taking time to get to know you both. The inspection he did was the most thorough i have ever seen. Todd is detailed and meticulous but able to explain it to you, the customer, in an easy to understand way. He answered all of our questions and was never rushed or impatient. I HIGHLY recommend!!

You get a lot for your money. Todd Stromdahl is one of Amelia Island/Yulee/Fernandina Beach’s top home inspectors. I was lucky enough to get an inspection on relatively short notice (one week) when I needed the info to close on our new (to us) house. I’m pretty knowledgable about housing coming from a builder’s background but I missed a bunch of stuff that Todd picked up. Unbelievably detailed inspection. Started on the roof and finished in the crawl space- took more than 3 hours. Climbed around in a 120 degree attic and pointed out a torn duct leaking a lot of cold air into a hot attic. Saved me $300/year on my insurance by documenting the roof had hurricane straps. He checked every switch and electrical outlet in the house. He pointed out some painted over drywall cracking I had missed. Every faucet was run, toilets flushed, air conditioner temp checked, and every window opened and closed. He checked every head on the sprinkler system and that they all worked properly on the timer. He spent so much time under the house in the crawl space I thought he got lost! He found, and photographed, the tiniest little leak under one of the toilet drains and suggested the repair in his highly detailed report. He even found some mouse dropping that the BugOut guys missed and pointed out their entry path with a suggested fix- they apparently enjoyed cold weather under the tub! A detailed inspection and report made me feel better about our purchase and saved me a fair amount on my homeowners insurance. Plus I know what minor repairs I should tackle first. Give him a call. I’m glad I did.
