We contacted Ed about a home inspection – multiple emails were exchanged including a confirmation email. Then 24 hours before the scheduled inspection Forte Inspections writes back to say that they double booked the time and cannot make it. Given that we spent 2.5 days coordinating scheduling with Forte, this endangered our inspection timeline and was just incredibly unprofessional. So we wrote an initial review of our experience. Seeing the review, Ed lashes out. Instead of apologizing for double booking, he makes matters far worse by writing an insulting email attempting to justify his unprofessional actions. A good inspector should be someone who is organized, detailed oriented and client focused. Someone who can’t even keep his schedule straight has no business evaluating whether there are serious problems with your home. There are 50+ inspectors in the Columbus area – use someone else.

Ed was great to work with. Scheduled my inspection immediately. Super nice to all involved. Sent an extremely detailed report including photos. He then followed up by phone and explained everything to me. I would give him even more stars if they were available! If you need a home inspection, call Ed!

He was worth every cent. He saved us from a potentially costly investment. We were able to make an informed counter offer for the purchase but ultimately walked away after what was uncovered by his expertise. Would absolutely recommend.
