If the eve of your roof looks like this, you have an ice-damming issue. REMEDY: Remove the snow (carefully) 5 to 6 feet up from the eve. Do NOT chip or hammer the ice as this can cause shingle damage. The goal is to expose as much roof as possible to the sun and encourage proper drainage.
1) A photo recap reminding you to check your exterior furnace exhaust vent and make sure it’s clear of ice.
2) Your furnace is working overtime in these frigid temps. Check your furnace filter!
