Fred Dupuis has lived in New Hampshire for over 30 years. His background in H.V.A.C. and plumbing led him into a career in home inspections beginning in 2005. We used Harvest Inspection Services for the purchase of a rental property. January 7, 2021 9:12 am

With exception of the roof’s Harvest did a good job. With the roofs, we mislead about the condition of the roof. We were told the roof was in good serviceable condition. Little did we know that the roof was close to 100 years old (age of the building) according to two different roofing contractors, both who stated the roof was well beyond its useful lifespan and has been improperly patched up in multiple areas. Harvest came out and I pointed out the items, including bubbles which if accidentally stepped or weighted down with snow would crack the roofing material, and Harvest stated those are all normal and acceptable. I pointed out the same items both contractors told us were beyond the useful lifespan and improperly patched and Harvest continued to insist the roof was still in good condition. You could clearly see the patch material lifting, and many more “dents” in the trim than the one described in the inspection report.

Just had them come out for an inspection. It is our first house so when I contacted them we had a few questions which they were able to answer right away. Fred was very thorough with his inspection and took his time going through the house. He checked every little thing and was sure to tell us as well as show us things as we went along. As for telling us the condition of our roof he went into the attic and showed us the wood was fine from underneath. He said he is not a roofer but it looked ok and wasn’t something to be worried about. He did tell us to contact a roofer for a second opinion just to be sure!! Fred was amazing and if I buy another house I will be sure to use him. I will also recommend him to any friends or family. Reasonable pricing! Very efficient and thorough for sure!! We are more than pleased with our service!!
