The inspection of my recent home purchase was fairly comprehensive and informative when the inspector was on site. The area I wish was improved was the communication. I paid for radon testing services and had a difficult time having the results relayed to me. I personally brokered the inspection services so any results should have gone to me directly, this was not the case. This same problem crept up when I asked about the condition of a feature of the house so I could better gauge when I could anticipate a replacement. After sending this inquiry, I never received any additional information.

We had our home inspected when we purchased it. October 9, 2020 7:51 am

While inspecting my father in law found mentioned the electrical panel has to have 3 feet clearance in front of it. The inspector insured him it was fine and that was not a thing in Des Moines. Two years later we are selling and have to fix this issue that we were told was not a problem at all. Other problems that came up after moving in we called to ask about and the people were very rude to us and told us there was nothing we could do about it. Now things things pointed out in our last inspection and were told were not a problem we have to pay for now. Very disappointed, we trusted their work and it hurt us in the end.
