Upon arrival, the inspector was climbing down from the roof, instead of waiting for us to arrive. He assured us the roof was in good shape. Upon entering the front doorway, we noticed water stains on the ceiling. The inspector went back on the roof and upon coming back down, he said there was a need to patch a spot over where the interior stains were observed. Other than that, he said the roof had been re-shingled and was sound. We had the owners make the said repair, the inspector returned, re-inspected the patch and said it had been done properly to avoid future leaks. A few months after moving in, the roof started leaking. Hired a reputable roofer to inspect the roof. He stated the roof had been re-shingled improperly with nails exposed all throughout the roof, indicating they were installed by an amateur. He sated the inspector should have noticed this and put it in his report. Upon replacing the roof, THREE holes were found under the shabby re-shingling job. I ran into 2 other people over the past few years who had hired this compny, and they were highly dissatisfied with their inspection. We got our inspection fee back, but lost THOUSANDS in many repairs. We could not sue them because they have you sign an agreement, which shields them from liability, but you won’t see the full agreement until AFTER the inspection is conducted.

The initial contact person was very polite and helpful and the inspector (Paul) was amazingly thorough and a very pleasant person.
