I booked Heartland Home Inspections to inspect a property that I am purchasing. When I arrived at the property, Ed was already there. On-Time: check. Ed spent about 3 hours with me at the property going over every detail of the home. I felt that no stone had been left unturned. Ed answered every question and made suggestions for repairs throughout the process. He was very knowledgeable and patient. The report from Ed was incredibly detailed. This is the the 3rd home inspection I’ve had in the last 3 years and this was easily the best. Every concern was labeled individually which made it really easy to make repair requests to the sellers. I simply directed them to the numbered comment in question. It’s rare to find such quality in work and ethics nowadays. Ed and Heartland definitely exemplify these traits. I would recommend them to anyone.

Ed was extremely professional and caring during the whole process. Was very detailed on what he was going to perform and he followed through. Once he sent me his inspection report, he followed up and explained the report with anything I had questions with. A few days went by and I had more questions that came up and he was more than willing to still give me the same attention to detail. Ed stayed with me the whole time, and he was one of the first people who I told when I didn’t go through with the house (due to the seller not willing to negotiate all the problems with the house). I will definitely be going to Heartland Home Inspections for the next house I put an offer on. I feel comfortable enough with his work to hire him again.

Ed is simply the best. He’s terrific at what he does, he’s prompt and provides excellent communication, and his reports are thorough and detailed. I wouldn’t use anyone else, and have already recommended him to everyone we know!
