Homecheck Inspection Service has been providing home buyers in St. Louis and the surrounding areas since 2001. HomeCheck Inspection Service is owned and operated by Jim Rueve. Jim is a St. Louis based ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) member, is a member of InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) is a BVI (Background Verified Inspector), has a degree in Commercial Engineering & Design and an extensive background spanning over 30 years in the contracting and construction industry here in the United States and in other countries as well. Homecheck was also awarded the Angie’s List Super Service Award from 2012-2019 and has outstanding reviews. Additionally, Homecheck is the go to inspection company for several real estate offices in St. Louis and the surrounding areas.

Steve and Richard are always early. Steve is excellent with first time home buyers. He explains things they need to worry about and things to watch. They take their time to answer questions the buyer asks. When the client chooses Steve and Richard I feel they will be well taken care of.

I wish I could give them six stars. Extremely knowledgeable, experienced, conversational. The ideal home inspector. Gave us all the bad news we needed and was extremely thorough and east to talk to. Tons of useful info with data and years of experience to back it up. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Rich was awesome. So informative and detailed and super personable. Caught so many things but explained what they were and ideas on fixing them. Seriously excellent job.
