A buyers inspection is designed to provide the buyer with a thorough evaluation of the home and property during the inspection contingency time period. A written report is provided in a timely manner to both the buyer and the buyers agent (if applicable). The report details any defects or repairs that may be needed. Buyers typically have a 5 – 10 day inspection contingency written into the contract which should only be lifted once any defects or repairs have been corrected by the seller in a manner that satisfies the buyer. In some cases, repairs needed are assigned a monetary value and may be negotiated off the final purchase price.
Matt has been my go-to home inspector for each of my home purchases. We learned what needed repairs and what ongoing maintenance we should focus on going forward.
Matt was knowledgeable and professional on the inspection of the property. He was personable and walked us through what he found to be minor repairs that should be addressed. Overall experience was pleasant.
Matt does an amazing job! He reviewed a house I had a few years ago and he did such a thorough job that I had him come and review my new house. His reports hit all the highlights of the house and he has an very keen eye for detail to make sure nothing is missed.
