Many potential safety hazards exist due to manufacturer recalls on appliances, but how do you know if the home you are purchasing has any unsafe recalled appliances

I have contacted these people about a neighbor who is building what’s supposed to be a roof onto the back of his house, which has fallen once already and is being attached directly to the facia board/ soffit board of the existing house. Safety wise, this damn thing has fell once with one of them on top of it, and there’s absolutely no reason he should be doing it under the cover of darkness except for the fact that he does not have a permit to do so.
