Scott is by far the home inspector you want if you’re buying a home!! I have already told friends and family how thorough he was during my home inspection and the above and beyond job he preformed. He is also extremely easy and available to communicate with and takes great pride in the lengths he goes to in providing information and feedback to someone as not well versed as myself during the process. Look no further, Scott is the right and honest man for the job.

Last year, LKI completed the a pre-purchase inspection of our home in St. Matthews after we moved from Florida. Scott’s spent over 4 hours at the house and covered every inch of the property. His report was thorough and it highlighted a few safety related issues that I believe many would have overlooked. He let us know that we could call him anytime with questions after we moved in. A year later, we had an opportunity to purchase 100 acres of land outside of Louisville. Knowing that Scott is an avid outdoors man, we called him to ask if he would consider helping us access the land prior to making an offer. It’s a non-standard request and we thought it might be a stretch, but Scott obliged and met us at the property a day later. We spent 3 hours hiking the land through fields, woods, and creek beds. Scott provided insight on potential for hunting uses, timber harvesting, and general ideas for potential improvements. Unfortunately, we ended up losing our bid on the land, but the value Scott provided was well worth the fee and helped give us the confidence we needed to give it a go. We definitely recommend Scott for standard home inspections or even inspection related services that may fall a little “outside of the box.”

They found immense flaws in homes I was looking to purchase that other inspector of good repute completely missed. I’m always amazed at the tiny little details they find that I would never have even thought to look for. Highly recommend. I won’t use anyone else
