We recently closed on a house and used Mt. Vernon Inspection Associates. Both my wife and I have purchased homes in the past, and we have a high standard for excellence. Craig Popp was our home inspector and we were amazed with the level of quality and service we received! Craig is extremely knowledgeable and not only thoroughly inspected our new home, but he explained how parts of the home worked, things we should look out for, and how we should maintain the home in the future. It was like having a personalized class on how to properly maintain our new home! Craig arrived early and was ready to go when we arrived. Throughout the inspection, he tested everything, and we mean everything! Not only did he look at all of the standard things that we would expect such as plumbing, heating, and electrical, but he also looked in every nook of the house from the attic to the basement to the ground levels on the property. His report was ready the same evening of the inspection and the quality was evident! We should recommend Craig and Mt. Vernon Associates without hesitation!
