Oregon Home Check Inspectors
Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that is estimated to cause 20,000 deaths a year in the United States. The Environmental Protection Agency recommends that every home in the US be tested for radon, especially at the time of a real estate transaction. The Oregon Health Authority has published new data on radon by Oregon Zip code. We provide Radon testing with or without a Home Inspection.
After purchasing the house I went to put on solar and found out that my roof had a defect and I needed to replace the whole roof. I went back to Torrey from Oregon Home Check’s report and the pictures clearly show the defect but he had not noted it. Of course at the time I did not know what to look for and so trusted that he did note any problems. When I called him to ask about that he looked at his report and owned that he missed that defect and only apologized and wished me luck in finding a good contractor. He failed in what he was hired to do and it is going to cost me over $10,000. Look elsewhere for a home inspector!
He was detailed with his inspection of my 1969 Bend built home and made me confident that my home was the right purchase for me in terms of any necessary work that may have to be completed in the near to late future. Thank you for the peace of mind, Torrey! Use this vendor with confidence.
Torrey with Oregon Home Check has preformed multiple inspections for my buyers throughout the years. Not once have I had a buyer be disappointed with Torrey or his services as a well qualified inspector. Torrey has taken the time to answer questions, direct buyers to the proper services for continued maintenance and so on. Torrey by far is one of my favorite inspectors in Central Oregon.
