Peter Barten Home Inspections

We were new to the coast and bought our first home. The first inspector missed big issues and we ended up with a home that was majorly rot. We called Peter to do a second look after we started having issues (only 6 months into living in the home). He was thorough yet concise and has been so helpful and kind throughout the process of trying to identify and correct the issues.

I made an offer on a home in Depoe Bay and Peter put together a great inspection report complete with pictures and suggestions. Peter was available on short notice and prompt with his email and text responses. He examined every piece of the property including the crawl space, roof, surrounding walkways, power lines, vegetation, sink plumbing, door openings, electrical panel, etc. I appreciate his attention to detail and I now have a lot of confidence moving forward knowing the pros and cons of the property I’m considering.
