Pillar To Post Home Inspectors – Matt Homan

Home inspection was good in the sense that we felt like they did a good job reviewing the big stuff like the foundation and the roof. They missed a few minor things that we unfortunately discovered after we moved in (the outdoor spigots weren’t connected to a water source for example) that we felt like should’ve been discovered during the inspection so we could’ve had them taken care of prior to move in.

Jason was very knowledgeable and thorough in his home inspection. He gave me a lot of great tips and suggestions. Jason was very was very quick to respond and made scheduling easy. His final report was extremely helpful in helping me understand my new home.

Todd was the best inspector! He came to our inspection and again right before close to make sure we felt comfortable with everything in the inspection. He was approachable, kind, willing to help, and easy to work with. I hope to work with him again. Would recommend to anyone.

I did not meet the inspector (Matt Homan), but he communicated in a friendly and professional way over the phone and email. His report was thorough and prompt (same day). It included photos, which was helpful for illustrating the issues he described. Very satisfied!

We had a great experience with Matt Homan from Pillar to Post as our home inspector for our recent home purchase in Birmingham. He was friendly, thorough, and clear when going through the findings from our inspection. He also was readily responsive to email and phone calls when we had follow-up questions. To add to this – due to an issue with our water and gas not being turned on during our first inspection, he willingly came back to do a re-inspection of these on very short notice.
