Paul O’Connell has twenty years of home inspection experience and 35 years of construction experience as a carpenter, custom builder and general contractor of custom homes and commercial buildings.

Mr. O’Connell has also worked as an insurance claims adjuster and a bank inspector. Professional Home Inspection has Errors/Omission and Liability Insurance.

Paul is a licensed New Mexico and Hawaii General Contractor. He has passed the National Home Inspector’s Examination and meets the New Mexico requirements of the Home Inspector’s Licensing Act.

My first interaction with Paul was over the phone. Being a first time home buyer, I was obviously worried about who to have as an inspector. Other companies I spoke to were either rude, or very short over the phone. Paul took the time to explain the process, and didn’t rush me off the phone. When it came time for the inspection, Paul was on time and extremely friendly. He completed a very thorough inspection, with me tagging along the whole time. His explanations during the inspection were very informative. The inspection report was returned to me promptly. It contained detailed pictures and explanations.

Paul performed a very thorough inspection and quickly (i.e. same day as the inspection) provided us with a high quality, detailed report, containing lots of pictures and narrative. Not only was the inspection done timely and professionally, but Paul also took the time to discuss the report and provide us with lots of valuable information. If I could rate Professional Inspection Services higher, I most definitely would. Paul is very professional, knowledgeable, and a nice person to talk with. Thank you!!

Paul at Professional Home Inspection performed a very thorough inspection on a historic home near the plaza for me. He was friendly to work with, easy to get in touch with, and very professional about his work. Not only was the report delivered to me in less than 24 hours, he was happy to discuss the inspection, and lean on his experience .
