Patrick Richardson began his home inspection career 25 years ago in 1992 after having been a building contractor for 12 years. His introduction to home inspections began when he bought his first home, a 200-year old cape. At his realtor’s suggestion, Patrick hired a home inspector since his building experience was limited to new construction only. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to Patrick, the home inspector was beholden to the realtor and, therefore, failed to point out major issues which ultimately costing close to $10,000 over the next few years. It was at this point that Patrick realized there was a real need for home inspectors who were ethical, professional, and conscientious. Patrick is now known as the most thorough home inspector in the southern Vermont and New Hampshire region as well as the inspector who is a strong advocate for home buyers.

Patrick is amazing. Very knowledgeable, reliable and conscientious.Goes through the entire house paying attention to every detail. Would recommend him to everyone. I will use him again on my next home as he did a great job.

Fair pricing for a job well done. He went places that I certainly didn’t want to go and gave me a very comprehensive list of Immediate needs and eventual needs. I would and have recommended him to friends and family.

Patrick came recommended to us by a close family friend and we quickly understood why. He was incredibly thorough and didn’t hesitate in being straightforward about his findings. He was also kind enough to advise on various DIY projects and even provided us with contacts/resources to reference during our home improvement process. By the end of our inspection we felt as though we took a crash course in home repair! We are so thankful to Patrick for his honestly and expertise. Would highly recommend!
