San Luis Obispo County Department Inspectors
The County of San Luis Obispo government (the County) was established in 1850 as one of the original 27 counties in California. The region’s approximate 3,300 square miles and 100 miles of coastline are divided into five supervisory districts that are each represented by an elected official who serves on the Board of Supervisors. The Board sets governing policies for and serves as the legislative arm for the unincorporated areas of the County.
This County has the worst permitting processes I have ever seen. Perfect example of tax dollars wasted!
Worst department to deal with. I submitted an application in June 2020 and have been calling and emailing this department and nothing. Not a single response. Left messages on there main line, filled in the online contact form and not a peep. Not even a return email or call.
I found them to be professional, helpful and patient. The location is a bit tucked away and parking is metered everywhere. Garage parking available.
