We had an inspection done on a home we intend to buy. He took the time after he was finished with inspection to explain and show my wife and I had what he found. Being first time home owners, it was a relief to work with someone like him to get the job done and walk us through it as well as give a complete report that was easy to navigate through.

Steve was hired on our behalf by our realtor to inspect a condominium unit we are considering purchasing. Steve is very thorough and easy to work with. We live in the valley versus Central Oregon where this property is located. It was extremely helpful that Steve took the time with us to explain the differences in the two areas in terms of climate. He was very prompt in getting the report to us (we had it before we could make the trip back home). Also, when we reached out with questions, Steve spent the time we needed and answered our questions. Should we need this type of service in the future in this area, we will definitely call Steve at SDC Home Inspections.

Steve came highly recommended from a couple different people and I wasn’t disappointed. He was very professional, on time and easy to talk to. The inspection took a couple hours and I felt comfortable to leave him there while I ran some errands. Steve text me 30 minutes before he was done so I could come back and lock up and go over some of the things he found. The report is easy to read and he takes pictures showing what he’s talking about in the report. I highly recommend him. Just make sure to read the contract thoroughly, one thing it says is they will not move anything to inspect an area. I could have been more prepared on my end for that.
