Being out of state, communication was a little slower than had we been on site to communicate. In the end, the job came out beautifully. All the rooms abutted to tile. The living room included a bee hive fireplace and curves at the intersection with the tile.
We were in touch by email after I chose my tile. They sent many pictures while work was in progress. The tile I chose looks like sautillo but is Italian. I wanted wider-than-normal grout lines which they did by adding extra stabilizer to the grout.
Here is my opinion of how SHC performed on my backsplash tile job: Tiles installation was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Friday. I called SHC when the installers had not arrived by 10 a.m. They asked if they could delay until Monday, and I said no. With no further communication,
Nick, Kathleen, and the others go the extra mile in helping you make informed decisions about any tile work. Nick is very knowledgeable and communicates very very well, which is so rare for most contractors! He kept me informed every step of the process. My tile repair job was delayed due to difficulty finding replacement tiles for a discontinued tile, but Kathleen miraculously found it. Also, Manuel does awesome tile work! I will definitely go back to Sedona Home & Design Center!
Our major kitchen remodel was completed with precise, friendly professionalism by the office staff, Eric the project manager, Mike the installer/carpenter, Tony the electrician, the plumbers, the tile folks, and the HVAC specialist. This during the Covid situation, with appreciated care and resolution of logistical concerns. We heartily recommend Sedona Home & Design.
Would recommend these people,Grace Mike and the whole crew did a awesome job on our kitchen and both bathrooms.
