Choosing the right inspector could mean the difference between finding hundreds or thousands of dollars in problems — or not finding them at all. What should you look for? What types of skills or credentials are required? The inspector’s skill and credentials are extremely important. A knowledgeable contractor with years of experience does not mean that he will be thorough in all areas of the home. The training or experience of an inspector is very important, but it still does NOT guarantee a thorough inspection. The inspector’s ability to find defects is the most important criteria.

As a first time home buyer, I had a lot of questions and concerns. Nick answered them all. He was thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. He took his time and even gave me some homeowner advise and tips. His prices are reasonable and he was very accommodating on short notice.

I cannot say enough good things about this company and Nick. He is extremely communicative, professional and prompt answering queries. He arrived early for the home inspection and really spent the time explaining each step of the process. He was open to answering all my questions, and he went above and beyond teaching me about how certain house systems worked and needed to be maintained. Would highly recommend this company for home purchase inspections.

Nick with Signature Home Inspections was extremely thorough. He was honest and straightforward with us as he did a full residential home inspection. Nick had no problem explaining any of his concerns or simply helping us understand what to look for as my wife and I pursue our first home. Let’s not forget his bag of tools which he used to supplement his own experience and knowledge. A thermal camera, a moisture sensor, a gas reader and even a drone were just a few of many items Nick used to assist his assessment. We would happily recommend him.
