When my husband and I were in the process of purchasing our first home, we found Smart Move Home Inspection and based on reviews we thought we would give it a try. With years in construction, Doug came in extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Doug walks you though home and educates you on concerns and possible issues found in a home. He later details all his finding and provide them back to you via email that can be access by a link. After, Doug then mails you a binder of that information for you to keep in your records. It is no question why I contacted Doug again as we pursue a new home. Doug is fair, honest, and probably the best in the business. I would highly recommend him as your home inspector.

Doug is very thorough and when I received my report it was easy to read and understand with plenty of pictures and also other informative booklets! Kudos!!!

We were impressed by the time he took and detail provided, including many photos, thermal imaging and humidity testing. He checked everything against current codes and paid attention to every detail. His report was extremely thorough and included about 100 pictures with notes on each one. Made it very easy to be aware of all repairs that were needed, as well as what was in great shape and looked solid for years to come. After the inspection he was also extremely accommodating with our follow-up questions and easy to get a hold of and talk to. Highly recommend his service!
