First and foremost their service was absolutely amazing little to no wait time from the time we called. He answered EVERY question my husband and I. This is a family owned business, and when I tell you they were thoroughly knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and made our experience absolutely amazing. It’s true they DID! Please please use Sound Home as Tom knows a lot about home inspection, he’s been in business for over 30 years.. I will always use them whenever there is a need. Thank you for making our home inspection experience easy ????

I cannot thank Tom enough for a WONDERFUL inspection. I chose Tom based on his experience with antique homes (mine was built in 1755) and I absolutely made the right choice. Tom was incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the home, down to the post & beam construction and why things were done the way they were. If you are buying an old home I cannot emphasize enough that you should hire Tom for the job as he knows what he is looking at and isn’t “scared off” by some of the unique aspects that come with an antique home and could scare off someone without that experience. I would absolutely recommend him for a newer home as well given his extensive home component knowledge! Tom allowed me to follow him around during the inspection and took time to explain and teach me about what he was looking at and how to look at each element. I learned a ton and walked away with a great list of what to address and over what time frame. The inspection report was turned around quickly and is essentially a guide book to my new home, and one that I will be referring back to time and time again. Their little touches like shut-off valve tags and a ‘my home’ book with tips and explanations of common home elements and systems, were amazing touches. From the initial booking, to day-of inspection, to the follow up call afterwards…

Sound Home Inspection was wonderful to work with. Tom and April were incredibly thorough, accommodating, and explained each of their observations to make sure my fiancé and I understood the problem and the recommended solution. I trusted fully in their knowledge. Tom and April were informative yet personable and I felt at ease leaving the inspection in their hands. The resources and information available post-inspection were easy to access and were available within 24 hours after the inspection. h!!!
