The failed to let me know when they were inspecting the house and i wanted to be present. Neither my phone or my wifes phone rang but they claimed they called. I moved into my home last sunday and by tuesday i got fed up with fighting with the heater. I have a 1 year old and my house was freezing and then when the heater did work it would just about over heat itself trying to warm up the house. Called 2 different companies in town to see what the issue was and it was the mother board. Quoted me 700 dollars.

We had our home inspected by this company before buying it a little over a year ago. However, upon moving in, we found that only half of the house is serviced by the furnace/air conditioner. They did show pictures of the temperature at each vent for the AC on their report, but not the heater (and, well, in November of course it showed each room was cool). None of the contractors we have consulted have found a solution to this problem, except to say that the furnace is too small for the house. My husband brought this to the company’s attention but was told “oh, well…”- apparently there is a clause in their contract that releases them from liability. THEN, this summer, upon having an electrician in to see why the GFI plugs were always tripping, we discovered that the electrical box was overloaded ($3000+ to get that rewired!) THAT is a safety issue which SHOULD have been caught before putting my family in danger!! I would NEVER recommend this company as they do NOT “look” well enough to find some very serious issues! Our realtor recommended this company, so we thought they were experienced and accurate…

The inspectors arrived on time and were extremely thorough! Most thorough home inspection I have witnessed. They even checked that the appliances/lights worked and the temperatures in the dryer, fridge and freezer. They caught many repairs that will need to be done, including decaying supports and uneven flooring. Very valuable information for us. They were friendly and explained things to us well, including how to function the heaters in the home. Would definitely use them again.
