Certification Matters! Home inspection is not a service where you want to trim costs or compromise service – your goal is to select the BEST inspector who will give you the MOST detailed snapshot of what you are about to sink your money into. I personally contacted ASHI to ask about the infrared technology (we wanted & used) + training before contacting anyone. Don’t be bombarded by agent recommendations, go to the ASHI website to search for CERTIFIED INSPECTORS on the Big Island there are simply two. These guys are the best, ask for them specifically – they have the expertise you want. We couldn’t have been more pleased by the feedback on inspection day and the comprehensive report produced. Unfortunately we weren’t able to utilize the buildable features this report offered due to our home did not sell within the time we needed to complete our purchase but we did play around with the type of reports it can generate, we look forward to using it and Top Notch for our next inspection! The technician was professional, courteous, on time and very thorough. The report that was published was easy to understand and provided good images and descriptions of all findings. I would recommend them to anyone needing a thorough and honest inspection. I will be using them in the future.
