I basically never write Google reviews, but Dan did such a good job that I want to let people know how much I appreciated him. Buying a home is the biggest purchase of most peoples’ lives, and Dan is the man to hire if you want to be sure of what you are doing. Dan inspected our new home 2 weeks ago, and his work was fantastic. He was very detailed, very thorough, and he was more than happy to answer my questions. I was amazed at how carefully he looked at every aspect of our house. His report and photos covered every area and system of the house. I know a bit about construction and he clearly knows what he’s doing. You’ll be very happy if you hire him, and I guarantee you will have made a great choice in an inspector. I could not have been happier with him and the high quality of his work product. And his inspection charge is more than reasonable. I have already recommended him to my daughter and son-in-law, and will be sure to recommend him to anyone else I know who needs a truly expert, high quality home inspection.

One would think there was no need to pay for a independent home inspection when buying a brand new home. After all, it’s new right! On the advice of a friend I hired Dan with Valley Home Inspection. He did not find a lot wrong with the home and overall I am pleased and think I am getting a quality home. The items he did find, if not fixed NOW could have escaped detection until after the warranty expired and could have cost many, many times the price of Dan’s thorough inspection. One or two of them could cause, over time, structural damage costing many thousands in repairs. I would highly recommend Dan and Valley Home Inspection to anyone buying a home, even a brand spanking new one. The money spent now may save you ongoing damage and untold repair bills in the future.
