Village Home Inspectors
At Village Home Inspections we realize that the decision to buy a house is often lengthy and complicated. Much of the guesswork lies in not knowing the general condition of a house. However, by arranging a home inspection, much of that guesswork disappears. Quite simply, the more informed a homebuyer becomes the more likely he or she will make a more educated purchasing decision. In this regard, it is easy to see the value of a home inspection.
My wife and I found him easy to talk to, which built trust for the inspection. He was well organized, communicated clearly and always kept his promises. He was thorough and unearthed issues that our sellers were willing to support and correct. They included radon issues and the replacement of a sump pump. Our Sellers even approached him when they had questions about the process and Stephen was glad to assist them in a responsible manner. We were very pleased with the support Village Home Inspections gave us and would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a timely and quality home inspection.
I’ve owned 6 homes over the years and so home inspection is not a new concept for me. When my wife and I decided to assist my daughter and son-in-law with the purchase of their new town-home, we decided to go with Village Home Inspection. I was present for the entire inspection and I found the owner/operator, Steve, to be a most thorough and friendly individual. He was both particular and precise in his assessment and he welcomed my questions and participation in the process. He got into every nook and cranny of that house. He utilizes a software program that allows him to incorporate photos of areas of concern, right beside his comments as to the details of that issue. He then summarizes the issues, major and minor, and comments as to estimated cost of repair and even whether he feels it is something that the HOA might have responsibility in correcting.
Was early and working when I got there. Explained everything and was very thorough.
